How the Harakat Game works

Each level shows one letter on a card. Drag the card along the track. When it reaches a harakat you hear the letter with that harakat. There are 29 letter levels and 6 quizzes, 35 steps in all.

Nine harakat in every level

Every letter is practised with zabar, zer and pesh, then khari zabar, khari zer and ulta pesh, then do zabar, do zer and do pesh. You can listen in Urdu or in English.

Quizzes with stars

After every five letters a quiz plays ten sounds. Listen, then slide the card to the harakat you heard. Score 60% to pass, 70% for two stars and 90% for three stars.
