How do I move on a phone?

Hold the four arrow buttons on the left to walk forward, back, left or right, drag the look circle on the right to look around and tap a card to pick it.

How do I move on a computer?

Use W A S D or the arrow keys to walk, hold Shift to run, drag the mouse to look, and press E, Space or click a card to pick it. Press R to hear the letter again.

Does it work without sound?

Yes. In the first zones the letter is shown on screen and an arrow guides you. Harder zones need sound, because the letter is only spoken.

Musa's Village

Walk and run through the village and the forest, listen to the letter the Qari says and find it on a leaf card hanging from a tree. Pick the right card and it glides into the basket you carry.

Zone 1: Mango Orchard

Easy letters with very different shapes. The letter is shown and an arrow helps you.

Zone 2: Canal Side

A bigger area by the water. The arrow only appears if you are stuck.

Zone 3: Village Lanes

Look-alike letters and the first joined letters. The letter hides after three seconds.

Zone 4: Deep Forest

All the letters, with look-alikes hanging close together. Listen carefully.

Zone 5: Foggy Evening

Dusk and fog. Some cards drift between the branches and the fog closes in.

Zone 6: Firefly Night

A huge night forest with fireflies. Find each letter among its near twins.

How Musa's Village works

You walk and run through a village with dirt roads, houses, a canal and a colourful forest. The game plays the name of a letter in the voice of Qari Sajid Waseem. Look around the trees, find the leaf card with that letter and pick it.

30 levels in 6 zones

Start in the Mango Orchard with letters that look very different. Later zones add look-alike letters, joined letters from Takhti 2, a deep forest, a foggy evening and a night full of fireflies. Each level can earn up to 3 stars.

Gentle by design

Letters always hang on leaf cards high above the ground. A right pick glides into the basket you carry. A wrong pick only shakes softly before it floats back to its branch. Letters are never thrown, dropped or stepped on.
